The purpose of this manual is to assist those who are making the parish mission to make it well. It contains devotions and prayers not found in ordinary prayer books. These have been inserted to bring you and the Dominican missionary closer together during the mission so that by common prayer and a common spirit you may become a better follower of Christ. After the Dominican missionary has left your parish and after his words have become dim in your memory, it is hoped that the prayers and devotions and instructions contained in this booklet will do much to bring the seeds planted in your heart and mind during this mission to full flower in your daily life.
