MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR

"How can they believe
unless they have a preacher?"

In an age very much like our own, St. Dominic established the Order of Preachers to proclaim Christian truth to the people. The apostolic ideal of Dominic is sending us to preach Christ throughout the Western United States.

Our preaching is the Gospel and the rich heritage of the Catholic faith.

If you are interested in our preaching to your people, Father, would you be so kind as to complete the above form and return it to us by mail or fax, or contact us by e-mail.

Our parish missions run from Monday through Thursday. We introduce the missions at all preceding Weekend Masses. Our usual procedure is two services a day, scheduling at the discretion of the Pastor. We stress and preach the sacrament of penance and reconciliation. We are available for counseling. If you have a parish school or CCD program, we hold a mini-mission for the children. The Rosary is recited before each service.

If you should decide on our services, we shall send you a publicity packet in plenty of time to aid in publicizing the mission.

Where the Money Goes

The funds raised through Western Dominican Preaching go to our formation programs to help support our student brothers who are preparing for a life of ministry in the Dominican Order.

Your support of this ministry is greatly appreciated and will help insure that our province will continue to be able to serve the needs of the Catholic Church.
